You may have noticed that many of our instructors, students, and board member are white.
When we started Here and Now Motherhood, we wanted it to be a diverse and inclusive space - we still do. We have given a lot of thought to the mistakes we've made, and how we can support racial justice, especially within maternal health.
Rather than diversifying Here and Now Motherhood to make white women feel better - and subject BIPOC people to our mistakes - we have decided to point to people of color who do what we do. People who work in maternal health, who teach prenatal and postpartum yoga, and who support birthers in any way.
